Established in 1932, Champagne Bonnaire produces refined Champagnes which have gained a reputation for excellence throughout the world. Located in Grand Cru Cramant, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, renowned for its Chardonnay, the wines from the grower family Bonnaire reflect a traditional savoir-faire and the unique distinctive terroir. Bonnaire produces elegant wines chararcterized by their creamy minerality and complexity due to the excellent chalk soil.
Jean-Etienne and Jean-Emmanuel Bonnaire, the fourth generation of winemakers, try to conserve the traditions and spirit of the family domaine, with a sense of openness and humility, in honor of their predecessors. However, they are very innovative with new product releases, lower dosage offers and they also obtained the HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) certificationby not using herbicides and pesticides.
Certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale), guarantees a high level of environmental performance, covering four key areas: biodiversity conservation, plant protection strategy, management of fertiliser use and management of water. Annual production appr. 200'000 bottles.
