Description: The Côte des Bar is Pinot country but there is a growing appreciation for Chardonnay in the region. This makes complete sense as a glance at the soils reveal them to be nearly identical to those you find in Chablis – flinty, Kimmeridgian and Portlandian clay and limestone. Davy Dosnon is a fan of the variety and makes a small (in volume) Blanc des Blancs cuvée that is broad, rich and complex.
