«Les Plates Pierres» is a plot of vineyard which has been managed by the Grumier family through several generations. Settled on a limestone and clay soil, it was entirely replanted in 1990 and 1991, this vineyard provides wines of a high aromatic purity. Grumiers are keen to better express this wonderful soil with an alternative winegrowing system with cover planting and a work of the soil under the row. The grape variety of the vineyard is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This wine is from a very great year and is developped for ageing.
