Champagne Didier Langry, grower producer (RM), Celles-sur-Ource

Father and son, winemakers by passion

Didier Langry Champagne finds its home within the prominent and oenologically remarkable village of Celles-sur-Ource which is located in the south of Champagne, within the famous region of Côte des Bar. This small village has 154 winemakers, 34 of whom are already marketing their wines under their own names.

The history of Champagne Didier Langry is still relatively young, Didier Langry is distinguished as a skilful and passionate winemaker. In 1989 he realized his dream by creating his own champagne brand. With the support of his son Mathieu, he works passionately to improve their outstanding terroirs in Aube. We found ourselves particularly curious about Didier and his son Mathieu's work since they produce from Pinot Blanc grapes, which is a rare found in Champagne.

From steep paths to green slopes, the Didier Langry vineyard extends over 9 hectares. In the heart of the Côte des Bar, Didier and Mathieu carefully cultivate Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and a forgotten grape variety, Pinot Blanc. Didier Langry's cuvées are the fruits of labour and perseverance. They reveal the secrets of their terroir with finesse.
