Magnum & Jeroboam

In Champagne production, as with all wines the bottle size has a clear influence on the quality of the taste. The same wine matures better in the magnum bottle 150cl than in the standard size 75cl. It also tastes more harmonious on the palate. This has to do with the oxygen content during the filling process, as well as the gas exchange through the closure of the bottle. Moreover the larger the content of the bottle is, the  lower the ratio of oxygen would be. In addition, large bottles are more impressive, especially for special occasions to be celebrated.
