Cuvée Ailleurs is a Blanc de Blanc de Chardonnay, vinified and aged in barrels on total lees for 1 year, then bottled just before the next harvest. Made exclusively from Fontette vineyards, the only plot Olivier Horiot owns outside of Les Riceys, specifically a small, old vineyard located in the town of Fontette, his mother's town, right next to Essoyes. Therefore the name "Ailleurs" = somewhere else.
