50% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir, Dosage 1.5 g/l – Extra-Brut
Terroir : The combination of two Grand Cru villages, Bouzy and Cramant. The grapes - Pinot Noir and Chardonnay - are harvested and vinified together.
A tribute cuvée to the estate’s two historic crus, the grapes come from two of the oldest plots: Les Marmouzes in Cramant, planted to Chardonnay in 1962, and Les Hauts Chemins in Bouzy, planted to Pinot Noir in 1954. Harvested, pressed, and vinified together, they must reach optimal maturity on harvest day to give birth to this vintage cuvée. Aged in small oak barrels on fine lees, the wine enjoys extended maturation on racks for over ten years, reaching the fullness of great Champagnes. The 2012 vintage seduces with its intense nose of citrus and candied red fruits, and its rich, generous palate adorned with subtle roasted notes. The power of Pinot Noir dominates the blend, while Chardonnay brings captivating vitality leading the tasting toward a long, persistent finish.
A gastronomic Champagne, expressing its full potential in food and wine pairings. Limited edition.
