Selected from only the great years, la cuvée Fleuron is a skilfull assembly of different soils available, representative of the vintage. The Grand Cru terroirs of Chouilly and Cramant dominate the assemblage, but Cuis as home and essential part of the "Pierre Gimonnet Style» always plays an important part. A great vintage should be a wine of pleasure, a balanced wine, with concentration, fineness and elegance. The acidity of Cuis soils confers freshness, as well as adding to the ageing potential of this vintage cuvée. Each year, the proportions of the different places mentioned vary with the intention of perpetuating the style.
