50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir, 25% Meunier
Fine pale yellow/white gold, persistent tiny bubbles; elegantly floral summer fruits nose with hints of brioche, very attractive; attractive brioche-breadiness on the palate, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier quite evident compared to the 50% Chardonnays, the wine being fruitier and slightly fuller but still elegant, youthful freshness but sufficient maturity to show fine balance, a very nice wine.
Intuition is a fleshy, nicely weighted blend with just enough smoke and salinity to deliver the excitement you are looking for in a traditional champagne made from 3 grape varieties. The chardonnay imparts finesse, elegance, white stone fruits and ethereal citrus notes. The pinot meunier gives a smooth, exotic and reassuring mouthfeel. The pinot noir structures the wine and brings intensity to the composition.
