«Les Longues Voyes» means «The long way» : The vintage wine is coming from a plot 30 km away from Lahert’s estate. These fine Pinot Noir grapes always take a lot of time to get the best maturity. With a long ageing in barrels on lees during 18 months, richness and complexity is added.
Cultural practices : vines growing with the respect of nature. Influenced by ecoligical methods.
Assemblage : 100% Pinot Noir – Montagne de Reims. Soils with clay and silts. Limestone subsoils.
Vinification : Picked up by hand when fully ripen, traditional press. Alcoholic fermentation in barrels. Malolactic fermentation not made. Ageing on lees during 18 months.
Dosage : Extra-Brut. Disgorgment by hand. Only 2'915 bt. produced (2013).
