JACQUESSON Avize Champ Caïne 2013

Avize Champ Caïne is 100% Chardonnay, from a 1.3 ha plot planted in 1962; extra-brut dosage, issued from a Grand Cru vineyard with old vines of almost pure limestone soil. After more than 8 years of aging on the lees it expresses an excellent aromatic cleaness, with notes of white flowers, honey and dried fruits. Great freshness, minerality, complexity and persistence on the palate. An elegant synthesis of richness, deepness and freshness. A great Blanc de Blancs Champagne!

In fact, two conditions are necessary to justify the production of these Lieux-dits. On the one hand, the quality of the vintage must, of course, allow the character of each terroir to be highlighted, but on the other hand, since Cuvée 700 remains the priority of the estate, it must not be diminished by the bottling of the Lieux-dits.

From this Cuvée only 11'220 bottles and 398 magnums were produced !  Dosage 0g/l (Burt Nature)
