Terroir champagne of body and spirit, born from Grand Cru Ambonnay

NV assemblage of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, dosage extra-brut: 3.5g/l.

Straightforward, round, and generous, the Cuvée des Crayères is crafted on average from about fifteen wines spanning five to six different vintages, with 80% of the wines vinified in small oak barrels. 70% reserve wines ensure consistency.

Eric Rodez captures the personality of Ambonnay from his very first cuvée, enticingly generous in its layered complexity of white peach, baked apple and honey, with oak contributing notes of spice. It’s supple, persistent and expressive of the sea-spray salt minerality of the village. 92/100 - Tyson Stelzer
