Egly-Ouriet's philosophy on this rare Millèsime Product is to have the Champagne stored on yeast almost a decade before disgorgement. It is clear that the wines of Egly-Ouriet are highly intense, complex, precise and mineral.
EGLY-OURIET Grand Cru Millésime is an mixture of Pinot Noir (70%) and Chardonnay (30%) from the best plots of the Grand Cru location in Ambonnay with south-south-east orientation with grapes exclusively from old vines. Conventional cultivation, manual harvesting in small boxes, spontaneous and thermoregulated fermentation in stainless steel tanks, ageing in barriques for 12 months, bottling without filtration, bottle fermentation / storage on yeast of 96 months. Disgorgement in July 2018.
