Since Jacquesson has moved to the philosophy of only releasing the 700 series wine every year, they decided to hold some back each year for an extended aging period on the lees and to release this wine as "Dégorgement Tardif" 5 years later.
The intensely white-golden colored NV Cuvée N° 741 Dégorgement Tardif is based on the 2013 vintage and includes roughly 20% of reserve wines. It was aged for 94 months on the lees before the disgorgement in April 2022. The bouquet is rich and aromatic yet very fine, showing a nice oxidative style and refreshing citrus flavors. The palate is highly elegant, finessed, well-balanced and quite charming. The 741 DT has enough fruit and roundness. The finish is pure, fresh and salty but also juicy. Quite lean.
Very limited production with only 14'609 bottles and 759 magnums. Dosage brut nature : 0g/l.
