This vintage Champagne from the selection of Empreinte d'un Terroir is a superbly fresh champagne proffering aromas of yellow fleshed fruits and citrus. Only grapes of exceptional maturity are used in this intage cuvee blended from equal parts of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. The Meunier is grown on a parcel known as Les Linguets which was planted in 1953 with ungrafted vines, which express the original character of this terroir. 8 years cellar ageing and an extra-brut dosage of only 3g/l.
«The wine has a yellow/white-golden color and offers a yeasty and iodine-scented bouquet of very fine red fruit aromas. On the palate, it is round and elegant, with intense yet dry and charming fruit and lingering minerality.»
