LAHERTE Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature - LAHERTE Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature
Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature
50% Pinot Noir, 50% Meunier
The Blanc de Noirs Brut Nature from Domaine Laherte is a blend of the two iconic black grape varieties of Champagne, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. It combines grapes from the southern slopes of Épernay and the Vallée de la Marne. This Champagne is built around the delicate fruit of the Meunier, the vinosity of the Pinot Noir, and the mineral freshness of Domaine Laherte's terroir.
To create this cuvée, Aurélien Laherte blends 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Pinot Meunier, including 50% reserve wines from previous years, aged in barrels. All wines are vinified and aged in small foudres and barrels. To develop the aromas and add body to the wine, regular bâtonnage is performed.
The wines are aged on fine lees for six months before bottling. Disgorging is done à la volée, with no dosage added afterward.
