This Millèsime 2006 in magnum format was stored for an incredible 132 months (11 years) on yeast and freshly disgorged in July 2018. The wines of Egly-Ouriet are unique and unsurpassed in complexity and intensity.
This product is a mixture of Pinot Noir (70%) and Chardonnay (30%) from the best plots of the Grand Cru location Ambonnay with south-south-east orientation with grapes exclusively from old vines. Conventional cultivation, manual harvesting in small boxes, spontaneous and thermoregulated fermentation in stainless steel tanks, ageing in barrique for 12 months, bottling without filtration process.
