As with all wines, the bottle size has a clear impact on the flavor quality of champagne. The same wine matures better in a Magnum bottle (150cl) than in the standard size (75cl) and subsequently tastes more harmonious. This is because the amount of oxygen during bottling, as well as the gas exchange through the bottle's closure and the ratio of oxygen in the container, becomes smaller as the volume increases.

Moreover, large formats are more impressive, in particular for special occasions to be celebrated that one would like to remember fondly.
